My Girly Girl

Here's the newest collage challenge over at Nerdy Victorious Scrapbookers!  Beautiful no?
I love looking at the collages even though sometimes I'm not able to play along.

Here's my take:

I found a pic of my Girly Girl at age 4 right after her baby brother was born.  She's so beautiful!
She was sooo posing for that picture!  She did it on her own...with no direction.  What a ham!

I played with Picnik to add part of the title to the photo.  So cool!

I misted a kraft envelope (by Maya Road) to match.  F...U...N!
I used some elements from my Pink Ninja Addicts Kit: Carousel!
Here's a look at the yumminess just cuz the colors are beautiful on this post!

I used a chipboard epoxy button by London Tierney:
This is called "Flirty"

Check out NVS and play along!
There's a prize which will be posted August 1st!

Everyone seems to be busy lately with the summer slowdown.
What have you been up to?

beautiful dreamer

Are you nerdy?  I AM!  Have you tried scrapping with the Nerdy Victorious Scrapbookers?  Um....if ya haven't...YOU SHOULD!  Go see what the Envious Society is up to!  Man the DT layouts ROCK and the two other submissions so far are GORGEOUS!

Okay, so I loooove how they inspire using collages!  Check out the current collage for this challenge below:

Soooo cool, right?

Well, here's my take:

I love...I loooves it!  Here's my Cali sis, Emmy.  Yes, another Hawaii picture!  These are one of my most fave pics taken during the trip.  She so purdy!

I'm a "watcher" and I learn things from observing.  I'm good with the NOT SO obvious... yet not always good at obvious.  Know what I mean?  Anyway.  I always learn from watching other people in my life.
I learn a lot from my family and in the last few years I've learned that my sister really lives life, taking the time to experience it in many ways.  It helps to be an ADRENALINE JUNKIE too!
But what I'm saying is she is continually doing things...enjoying good food, watching sunsets, living healthy, and doing whatever is next on her daredevil list.

The journaling reads:
"You remind me that really living life takes effort....you can't be lazy and let it pass you by."

And I adapt this concept into my own life (since I'm not comfortable being a daredevil with two young monsters who depend on me).  So I take them to the park on the limited sunny days we have in Washington or go out to enjoy a train ride at our fave hangout, take a family vacation, or just have family get-togethers!

Have you taken time to enjoy life lately?  What have you done?

You have till June 30 to scrap and link up!

Hugs,
Mo

Soulmate

Okay, I've stumbled across another challenge blog...yesssss!!!!  This one's pretty cool!  Um...and Ninja Master Ally is there too!  Sheesh...no wonder I think it's so super cool!  It's the Nerdy Victorious Scrapbookers....he he...cute, I know!  What I love is they do these freaking cool collages (you have GOT to check it out) and you draw inspiration from them whether it be in the design or colors or....whatever!  I'm loving that concept!  This is for their SECOND challenge, so hop on over and play along.

I also am taking part in the Swak Crop over at Simply Obsessed and I'm having a great time!  There are games and challenges so play along and get some scrapping done!  I created this layout using Challenge #1 where you are to pick from several conversation heart sayings.  I picked Soulmate.

And one of my soulmates is my dd Isabel.  She amazes me.  Here is the journaling:

"My baby girl, my soulmate, my love and my life. You are the best of me and my weaknesses are your strengths. You're amazing!"

In the photos we are singing some songs from the Mama Mia soundtrack...which we love...he he!  I used a stinkload of stickles!!!!!  At the rate I'm going, Hubs is going to have to buy me another boxload of ink, stickles, and paint!  I've been dusting off a bunch of my stamps...I've neglected them for so long....I even felt so bad..for awhile there, I removed my "stamping with mo" title from the banner...ah hah!  Now it's back...the title I mean...oh...and the stamping!

Hope you enjoyed my share!

Hugs,
Mo
