Funky Sweetie Card!
Happy New Year to all! I hope yours started out nicely! We are easing right into 2013 over here. Part of me is very thankful to have the kids back at school (less fighting and screaming and argument moderation for me), but part of me misses the family time. Right now, I have a quiet house for the next two hours and it's been long overdue!
This is a funky card I created. It's nice to do something out of my norm. I did alot of playing around here. I played with some Glubers by Cosmo Cricket. It's basically a large adhesive dot that you can stick stuff on. I pleated a folded crepe streamer onto the dot to create this funky flower. I also played around with layering ink (Ragner paint dauber under Maya Road ink) and using my grass die cutting plate to make a border around the card.
Have you ever tried to experiment with die-cuts and shapes to use them in a non-traditional way?
