Making a Valentine's Day card with SCRAPS!

Okay! Here's a Valentines Day Card! This is perfect for giving to a friend!!! What a wonderful surprise to get! I've got this big accordion file FULL of (S)CRAP(S)....he he......? N-E-WAY, I decided I need to start using them up....perfect for cardmaking! I am also in need of some new designs for my upcoming card camps, so hopefully this means more videos and posts!

Another YouTube video is up on my channel (MoMoStamper). Check it out at the end of this post. I also use the Stamp-A-MaJig and Crop-A-Dile tools to create this card (see the video). Above is a photo of the card. Below is a close up of the two cute birds!

I used the tag punch Item#105934 (the larger tag) to punch out the birds, and then mounted that piece on the textured cardstock. I then cut around the white tag to create a mat. The

birds were watercolored using a blender pen Item#102845 and Classic ink pads in colors of of Baja Breeze Item#111833 (blue) and Regal Rose Item#105235 (pink).

The ribbon used is called Bashful Blue 1/4" grosgrain ribbon Item#109029 (ribbon image copyright Stampin' Up!)

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this heart punch! It coordinates with the heart stamp in the Love You Much set! I absolutely love this coordinating feature because that means I can mass produce cards! I like to make the Valentine's Cards with my daughter so she can give them away to her classmates. She loves making cards and knowing that she will be creating them for all her friends at school!
