They seem to love and appreciate it.  Especially when I post it to their wall and surprise them!

It makes them happy, makes me feel good.....sigh.

I chose to scrap one of the funny photos from our Disneyland trip.

Little sis makes faces...lots of them.  She's one of those face-makers.  I love it!

This week is full of lots of stuff:  work, meeting, softball game, girlie fun....

It will sure be nice next Wednesday when I start my 5 day stretch of days off!

I'm hoping to get more scrap time in!

As far as scrappy shares go, I'll be able to share the TONS of creations I've done for SNR within the next month or so...stay tuned!  In the meantime, I've done lots of digi pages to get my practice in!

Whenever I get a chance, i try to work on creating a digit layout.

This is the second digi page I've made this week, thanks to Sketchy Thursdays.

I'm cranking out the digi pages...YAY!  I'm hoping to put them all in an album which I can give as gifts for the Holidays!  I can make several copies, so I'm going to save so much time and money!  Digi is so freaking cool!

I've been playing around with masks lately.  I love the collection I purchased by Carina Gardner.  So cool!  It's got this grungy kind of feel.  So fun to play with :)

Last September, I participated in the Aflac Iron Girl Run/Walk and had way more fun than I could have ever imagined with my girls!  I think our #1 motivation (for those of us that were walking and talking together) was breakfast at Patty's Eggnest!  Yum!  I added a photo of my breakfast to the layout....practiced a new technique.  Likey?  Pretty cool huh?

So what if I consumed more calories than I burned!  It was the FUN that counted!

We're planning to do it again this year!

I scrapped a couple moments from our family vacation in Hawaii this past summer.

"Lil Monster" started to sing to Justin Beiber's "Baby" song and it was too cute!

I was also inspired by the newest challenge at Candy Shoppe Designs!

For January, you can pick from 3 different challenges!

I created this design team layout for the

"A YEAR OF ALL SEASONS" challenge!

And I also played with the "WHITE CHALLENGE" and created this...

My inspiration as far as WHAT I scrapped about, was taken from my DT work for All About Me.

The challenge is called "On the Agenda".  I chose to scrap about my goals for 2011!

This is a photo I took of my babies after a long day hanging out while on vacation in Hawaii....I know...another pic, but I have so many to share!  And all the pics I took will be used in TONS of layouts in the near future so I hope you're not sick of Hawaii cuz I sure won't shut up about it!!!!

I love seeing these two all cuddled up together!  They're usually always screaming at each other and fighting...ugh!

FINALLY!  I was able to do some Sketchy Thursdays scrapping!  It's been soooo long!  I've been too busy with my DT work and life that I had less time for playing with my fave challenge blogs!

Woohoo!

Up for grabs are 2 sets of copics!  Cool!  I've been meaning to get into that but have been hesitating but too worried about creating another addiction!

Anyway, featured in the layout are my adorable cousins.  Isabel had a great time with them and soooo adores and misses them all.  So, I titled the layout buddies...cuz that's what they are!

Journaling:

Sweetness runs in the family!  They love hanging out together!

And here are more Hawaii photos!

We drove down to Haleiwa which is a cute little old town with LOTS of cool shops and food.

I snapped a photo of this cool sight.  I'm not sure if it was a surfboard shop or some kind of museum...

There seemed to always be a long line at this place to get Shave Ice...aka....snow cones.  Well, they're not really snow cones...they're someting so much better!  In the bottom of the cone, I had them put some ice cream (but you could choose other things like these sweet bean stuff).  Then they put the shave ice and the flavored syrup on it!  AND you could also add something on the top like condensed milk (I know, total sugar overload)!  These are soooooooo stinkin' yummy!  I'm in withdrawals already!

One of the big things I miss about living in Hawaii is eating Shave Ice on a hot day.

My parents chose to have condensed milk drenched all over the top of their shave ice!

And a couple tips for those of you who may head over there one day....my cousin who lives in Kailua told me to try the shave ice at the Shimazu Store which she seemed to like better.  And if they sell the holders (the blue things that hold up the cone) you MUST pay the extra few cents because eating shave ice is MESSY and who would want any of that goodness to fall on the ground...you wanna eat it ALLLLL up!  Here is some info on some Shave Ice places to hit up...I would highly recommend trying different places!!  he he!

This is a super quick post to share the card I made!  I love the patterns together!

Sketchy Thursdays again!  I chose to make a card with the sketch.  This one will go to my Mom for Mother's Day!

I used my Pink Ninja's Addicts Kit papers with some extra stuff I had.  Lots of Bella Blvd here!  Love!!!!

We Are Family

Time for Sketchy Thursday share!  I enjoyed this sketch so HAD to play!

Once again, I scrapped some photos from Gabe's birthday last year.

I added some old stuff from my embelly stash!

And...of course...I played with my LOVELY Liquid Pearls (Ranger) in Platinum.  I NEED MORE COLORS!!!

Guess what?  I got a hair cut!  I'll have to wait till tomorrow to snap some pics but I really like how it turned out!  It's fun and sassy...like ME!

Crazy COOL Cid...uh....Kid?????

Worked on another Sketchy Thursdays layout AGAIN!  I actually knocked down 4 layouts today (will share with you all later)!  I scrapped a couple photos of my super cute cousin Derrick.

I'm working on a few layouts to put in a Mother's Day scrapbook for my Aunt J.  I'm also trying to make another one for my Mom and if time allows, some for friends and family.  We'll see!

I love these cute gears by Maya Road!  And it's SUPER QUICK to use Maya Mists to color them!  Just ZAP it dry with a heat gun and seconds later...YOU ARE DONE!  The heat gun is the Impatient Scrapper's BEST FRIEND!

This kid is ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE!  I decided to use a bunch of adjectives in my journaling to describe Derrick.  Now I'm on the lookout for old photos of my cousins so I could make more pages to pop into the scrapbook!

And I found CHEAPO scrapbooks at Target for not much more than $7 on CLEARANCE!  I dunno bout you, but when I pass by scrappy things like that, I HAVE to get a "couple" things.  

I've used a bunch of these journaling pages on my layouts lately!  I love these long ones!  Soooo fun to use!

N-E Wayz!  TODAY IS MY BIRTHDAY!!!  Woooohoooo!  I've been scrapping in my craft room all morning!  Funnnnnn!

Thank you to EVERYONE for the birthday wishes!  You all are too sweet!!!

We actually celebrated on Saturday (the 13th) and it was an amazingly fun day!  I had lunch with some co-workers...not for my bday, just as a get-together.  It's always fun to talk outside of work (especially since work is waaay too stressful to get some good chatting done)! Had coffee with a good friend right after and later that night celebrated with close friends and family till the wee morning hours while also catching the Manny Pacuiao (You Tube link of his knockout highlights) fight!  BORRRRRING (I meant the fight)!!!!  Oh well, I still like to watch him on TV.  He's such a genuinely nice person and I LOVE that he's always cheesing for the camera (soooo unlike a champion boxer)!  LOL!  Had some jello shots...yummmm and topped the night off with watching the movie 2012!  Yes.....what a CRAZY PARTY...he hee!!!!

Sunday I shopped with the Hubby and caught Alice in Wonderland with my good friend R and her Hubby J!  Love those guys!

Monday had dinner at my BIL's house.  I love eating there, cuz his wifey CAN COOK!  Yummmm!  And I think I am officially allowed to say my BIL Cham is going to be a Daddy again!!!  I've got my fingers crossed for a lil girl which I can borrow every so often!!!!

Ummm....let's see.  Tonight we're having din din at my Mommy's house!  Yummmy!  I love it when people feed my tummy!!!!!  Cook for me and I'LL LOVE YOU FOREVER!  I think if I could actually cook...I'd be food critic.  But since I only eat, I'm not totally qualified!  LOL!

My sister Emmy (from Cali) sent me a beautiful Orchid which I JUST GOT VIA UPS!  I love her!

I just feel so loved y'all!  I'm having such a wonderful week!  I'll be taking pictures t'night!  So hopefully I'll be able to share them with you soon!

My Favorite Friend

Remember this layout????  It was actually my DT layout for the NEW All About Me Challenge up TODAY about YOUR PERSONALITY!  I took a personality test and found that I'm an ISFP (Introverted Sensing Feeling Perceiving) kind of person.  For the most part, it was right.  I took all the descriptions and wrote them in my circle journaling box (BTW, this is a past Sketchy Thursdays sketch....sooo cool)!

I'm not sure if you're a challenge blog FREAK like I am....but like I've been saying....I hit a stretch of consecutive work days and when that happens...I'm hoplessly lost!  February proved to be ANOTHER month of MANY MANY layouts....and I FORGOT TO LINK UP LIKE THREE OF EM...ha ha!  Oh well.  It was nice to get inspiration and get some layouts outta the way!

So, to my TAAFOMFT ladies..I've missed more than one challenge where I forgot to link up....like the last one!    But that's okay cuz I won at STP with that same layout!  He he!

Yes, my Mommy is one of my favorite friends.  We're 19 years apart and she looks more like my older sis.  She's so cute!

We're posed kinda funny, but Mom got me that watch I'm wearing after I went CRAZY over the gold one she bought herself.  So, for my birthday a few years ago, she bought one FOR ME!

I used the faux metal technique to make that gold piece from scrap paper.  That cute stamp is from Hero Arts and I used an opaque white pen to journal on the swirls. 

Speaking of favorite friends.

We went to one of the lakes nearby with my BIL and took some photos.  He wanted to play around with a new flash he got.  It was near dusk by the time we got to the lake.  This is my fave photo that day!  Gabe is such a goofball!  Do you think it's because of his Daddy or Mommy???????

And  here is my adorable cousin cutie D!   I just wanna pinch his cheeks!

My girl is just looking too grown up these days!  She's DEFINITELY lost her baby body.....pot belly, super big head, chubby thighs, short legs.....she's longer and leaner now.  I don't think I'm even a head taller than she is.  In a couple years she'll be looking DOWN AT ME!

This one is cute too.  Isabel and D are pretty close...they're always stuck to each other....talking, laughing, and playing.  I love how she's peeking from behind him!  And there's my adorable baby cousin T (who just celebrated his 4th birthday)!
